Meet our Wesley director

Rev. Rob Rynders, who was commissioned in June as a United Methodist minister, is the director of Wesley Campus Ministry.

Rob got his undergraduate degree at Long Beach State University in psychology. He then went on to obtain his Master of Divinity at Claremont School of Theology. For the past 10 years he has been involved in campus ministries — whether it be as a student, a youth director, or as a staff member for Sierra Service Project.

Rob loves Disneyland and Disney World, the Oakland A's, playing guitar, going to movies, and traveling. He's been married to Melissa, who is also a United Methodist minister, for several years and they have an adorable cocker spaniel named Belle.

When he's not at one of the many Wesley activities and events, Rob can be found in his office on the second floor of the Baker Center at Tempe First United Methodist Church.
