October Update From Pastor Rob

      As we continue to move through the Fall semester we are as busy as ever here at The Wesley Foundation at ASU.  Our second year of full-time ministry has brought new students, leaders, programs, and activities.  We now offer a study, activity, or program every day of the week.  Our most popular new activity has been our Saturday night "Wesley Weekend Madness Group" where students have been coming together to play football, ultimate Frisbee, and just to hang out.  This has given students an alternative to some of the more typical college weekend activities and has encouraged students to bring new friends to see what we are all about.
           This new school year has also brought changes to our intern program.  Chris Hoerber is now our intern of development, working to contact Alumni, incoming students, and scheduling church visits.  Kyle O'Neal is a gifted singer/songwriter who joins us from Kansas and has been helping to create and lead amazing worship experiences on Wednesday nights.  Finally, Craig Sequeira, takes over as our administrative intern, keeping the office (and me) organized.
           In November we will be hosting our first annual "Wesley Open House."  This is a chance for anyone to visit us and check out our new Wesley building, our worship service, a concert from Kyle O'Neal, and time to meet many of our students.  Dinner, door prizes, and lots of "Guitar Hero" will be provided.  Our "Open House" will be held on November 12th from 5-8pm.  We hope you will join us.
